Well, it was posited that a variety of micronutrients was a good thing, as was a variety of pollens (i.e., wider assortment of amino acids). I would imagine that this ingredient would fulfill such a role, no?
The only question is whether bees have the necessary enzymes/gut bacteria to process it (as would mosquitos, ticks, and other blood sucking insects).
