Peter’s original post extolled the virtues of human urine. Regardless of the source my understanding of urine is that it contains salts, urea (an antibiotic), water (obviously), and is essentially sterile except in the case of a bladder infection. Given that bees generally prefer salty / dirty water, it seems to me they would like any urine. So, why wouldn’t you start by testing human urine? That’s the original recommendation and relative to cow urine, it is easy to collect.
