This article (articles.extension.org/pages/63774/sunlight-water-and-nosema-spores ) address two topics: use of sunlight to sterilize nosema spores and the potential for nosema to spread via bee drinking water.  The article does not seem to be peer reviewed.  
A comment on the criterion for spore sterilization would be welcome.
