Bill, I can't say, since Jennifer has not yet shared her data from either
last season's trial or this season's with me yet. I'm supposed to receive
it within a week.
Until I get a chance to analyze their data, I can't say whether humidity
had an effect. I'm currently in Mississippi, and spent the past few days
in New Hampshire and Pennsylvania. In those high-humidity areas, several
beekeepers who have experimented with OA/gly towels report good results
(but not hard data).
Glycerin is highly hygroscopic, so if anything, I would expect the solution
to be even more effective under conditions of high humidity.
I'll post to the List when I have a chance to review the data.
