A gent who started his beekeeping in 1918 imported many different sub spp in
those early days as the industry got into gear. Cyprians were one of those
he wished he hadn't. He also was of the opinion that the ones we ended up
using had become quieter over the years. Of course that could also have
been because the beekeepers became more skilled at handling bees.
