Well, there are areas in Poland, where only AMM is allowed, but do other
races are forbidden there? Despite the establishment of buffer zones around
protection zone, the inflow of artificially bred drones is so overwhelming,
that keeping the local AMM in pure race need to be supported with
artificial insemination.

We knew the same from David Lutz, the only breeder of pure Kampinoska AMM
bee, north of Warsaw, Poland. He also needs to use AI to support his
breeding program.

But there are also scientific observations, that even the most superficial
Buckfast or pure Carniolan, when left alone for several generations in
Poland, still gets more and more genes of AMM.
