I do not know the answer to the vaporization question, but will soon be.
In Alberta vaporization is the method of choice for many commercial beekeepers when needed to apply OVA. It is applied as late fall to early winter treatment. There is no impacts on colonies brood build up or bee population. In fact it is less harsh on bees due to even distribution of bees inside the hive. Vapour will settle on bees evenly.
The question that we have on hand is that with new vaporizers in the market not tested, how much is the applied dose and could these doses and multiple applications harm the bees?
