I did a quick google scholar search on Hopguard II. In 2012 (published 2014) a trial was done in the Canadian prairies that showed that the 1st iteration of Hopguard had insignificant results. (https://academic.oup.com/jee/article/107/6/2030/794425)
My questions: has a similar study been repeated for version 2? It was recently approved for use in Canada. I see that version 3 will be out next year.
I currently use OAV and I am very happy but I am looking for more simple products for use in cold climates. We are getting many hobbyist up here in the cold north (Yukon) especially in urban areas (higher hive concentrations). Folks like me that are very isolated don't really have issues with mites if dealt with in year 0.
