100% agree. 2 years ago I trekked to Dyce Lab for a workshop where Randy made presentations and showed how he works hives. It will remain the highlight of my beekeeping experience. I almost freaked out when he called on me to show him how to inspect a hive, but I’ll be damn if I’ll ever forget how he works 3 frames at a time. His articles are the first ones I read in ABJ.
Making science approachable and consumable by average person is HARD. Randy’s articles bridge that gap brilliantly for beekeepers.
