I've experimented with Snelgrove-type boards, and haven't noticed any
particular benefit to having screen intead of simply using solid Masonite
or thin plywood. I have good luck using a standard inner cover, with a
rotatable flap over the bee escape hole, and a notch cut into the rim for
an entrance (best with inner covers with a wider reveal on one side).
