This is important because it restates the difficulty of disentangling the close association of DWV with Varroa and their contribution to individual bee and colony mortality."

May this help explain why one colony crashes with an alcohol wash % infestation of 5%, before treatment, while adjacent colonies with 3-9% make it through?
