Talking about alcohol in propolis tincture that is ilegal at Chile. You
need a special licence to sell alcohol (and pay a particular high tax).

Also because my Veterinarian wife need to properly dose propolis; after
macerating propolis in 70% alcohol for 15 days, we distill the solution,
taking most of alcohol out (www.amazingstill.com is the one we started with
now we have migrated to inox.steel) and leaving only propolis (>95%). We
call that Extracto Blando (Soft Extract? literal translation).

With that Extracto Blando you can dose. So for liquid propolis we use 30%
Extracto Blando in Propylene glycol ...

So not all propolis are processed equally ;)
