I'm curious about your casual observation, since where I live, leaving a pollen trap on a hive for more than a week or so invariably crashes that hive (other than during the most intense period of pollen flow in the spring). What have others observed in your areas?
No idea. Don't know anyone else who traps pollen in the area. We do have a long steady pollen flow here most all summer.
I originally tried the on/ off method where you open it every 3rd day. No difference
