Years ago I inspected for a fellow who said he had convinced his neighbor that his bees were trained. With a queen excluder below the bottom box, a queenless swarm emerged as the two watched and settled on a branch within easy reach. The neighbor got all excited, but the beekeeper said no problem, his bees were trained to come out and get some fresh air now and then. When he saw the cluster beginning to break up he whistled, and sure enough the bees went back into the hive.
