Re the goldenrod pollen, Charlie, it wasn't just two points reduction in
protein--it was an apparent 30% reduction in my lifetime (I agree that I'd
like to see this confirmed).  That's a HUGE nutritional impact!  It's like
the difference between building colonies for going into winter on
low-protein pollen rather than high-protein pollen.

One of us in not looking at the data corectly (probably me)  But I went and looked at the Global Co2 level from 25 years ago,  and todays.   and then overlayed that on Dr. Ziska chart,  that showed a drop from about 14% to 12% (east as it was just looking at grapihic lines)
It appeared to me that 30% reduction claim was based on "calculated" rates of 18% from pollen gathered and stored,  compared to todays norm of 12%??    If I am reading that incorrectly please advise.

I'm also a bit surprised at your hopeless attitude about our ability to
decrease CO2 reductions.  If you haven't yet viewed the incredibly
important film *Merchants of Doubt*, may I suggest that you (and the rest
of Bee L readers) do so.

Your a bit correct on that point!  look at the simple things we cannot seem to agree on,  and as of yet I see no serious ideas or efforts,  just a lot of noise from the henhouse.  Many instantly take a defensive position,  some her assumed I am anti GW,  not true at all.  but human nature puts many in defense or offense first and foremost.  such as it is with this debate.
I as Bill Well stated  am all for limiting emissions....  lets got on with a plan,  no need to argue the effects at this minute level.

I regard to my statement that offend Pete,  That was an adjective used on me, and about me, on several occasions.  It had nothing to do with anyone but me. I wonder how good a debate we can have when even amougst friends we feel the need to parse words for possible offense,  when none isclearly intended I already apologized once.
Charles
