Hello everyone
The annual Post Medieval Archaeology Congress will be taking place
online over 28-30 May 2021, and deadline for the call for papers and
posters is just one week away! You can find details on the dedicated
webpages at https://pmac21.com. Registration will be opening in early
April, deatails of this are at the same site.
This year's themes are:
Post-Medieval archaeology in the era of COVID-19
Comfort and consumption during times of trouble
Material culture: connections and comparisons
Public archaeology
The non-human other
Social relations, socially distanced, and the downright anti-social
Papers will be delivered in one of two ways:
Pre-recorded and available for viewing in advance, with a live
discussion with a chair, the speakers, and time for questions during the
conference
Twitter papers, composed of 12-15 Tweets delivered over 15 minutes
with 5 minutes for questions.
We're also inviting posters, to be hosted on the SPMA Instagram feed.
