What's the same is that I had a good honey flow in July, got the honey off and put MAQs on. That usually is effective. What was different: the best July flow I ever had, and I am guessing the MAQs were not effective for the reason given by another poster, they out-gassed too quickly.
After the treatment all the supers go back on for the Knotweed flow, which has also been big this year. I am sorry that I don't take mite counts like Randy does, but the procedure has been effective for many years. I hope someone benefits from this tale
