The paper is refereeing to dribble method and they used high concentration up to 20%. The recommended dose in Canada and the USA and many places around the world is 3.5% and maximum dose 50 ml/ hive (5 ml per space between frames occupied by bees). The Canadian Label is in this link.

It would have been interesting to take bees from the treated hives and check the percentage of bees damaged by OA.
