Recent (and as yet unpublished) research that I've seen is also shifting my
assessment of the neonic seed treatments, although more for native bee
species than for honey bees.  What we're finding is than non crop
vegetation on the field margins tend  to concentrate residues in their
nectar and pollen to a degree greater than the crop plants.  This
consistent finding is cause for concern.
