We invite your article submissions to a new internationalrefereed journal for 2020, Archaeology of Food andFoodways, showcasing original scholarly work on therelationship between human sustenance and society. This publication foregroundsthe dynamics between food and culture, food and environment, and shifts infoodways over time, covering time periods from prehistory through the 19th century. Weencourage the submission of original work by archaeologists, historians,Classicists, and other scholars who address methodologies, theories, historicaltrajectories, cross-cultural comparisons, and controversies surroundingmaterial culture and past foodways. We also encourage the submission of work byscholars and other specialists who have applied archaeological findings to suchdomains as public policy, culinary arts, and dietary regimes.
