I used to keep bees very close to a badger set in Derbyshire, England.
They lived alongside each other for about 4 years without incident but I
was warned that once the badgers discover what's inside the hives they
never forget until you move all the bees away for few years. Apparently
they can reduce a cedar hive to splinters very quickly.
