Hi all
re: sperm mixing

> The combined results of Laidlaw & Page, Moritz, and Woyke suggest (a) sperm of different ejaculates does not mix to a great extent in the oviducts of queens; (b) queens pass the semen of the different ejaculates by the spermathecal duct at a fairly constant rate; and (c) the spermatozoa of different ejaculates mix within the spermatheca.
