Yes, in Germany the comma is used for a decimal point and the point is
used as a separator. Also, in the English text they used the word frame
when they meant box.

Varroa mites act on frequencies from 12.000 to 17.000 Hz. Within this
range they changed their behaviour completely.

The bees are restless  between 2.000 to 8.000 Hz. Over 10.000 Hz there
is no reaction, either in bees or in the brood.
