I set up two queenless starters, sticking a total of 24 used plastic cell
cups all over combs of eggs (in my experience, bees prefer rearing
supersedure queens in existing plastic cups on the combs).  But for some
reason, the danged bees didn't start emergency cells in either starter, nor
did any eggs show up in the cups, so I need to try again.  Next time I'll
use both plastic and natural beeswax cups.
