now you all got me confused too

what are we measuring? frames total surface?

if that, a langstroth hive will have:

each frame will be with MAX wax surface 20x42 cm = 840 cm2 (I have just
measure one frame)
now each frame have two faces : 840x2= 1680 cm2
if 10 frames = 16800 cm2

Why don't we compare volume = cm3 ie. cubic centimetres?
