Hi Trevor, Geoff & All

As I said, on a previous post, I don't check my nucs(4 deep frames)  
for 25 days after inserting a cell, to allow time for capped brood  
cells and peak queen pheromone levels (page 17 of study). The nucs, at  
that time, are stuffed with
brood (all stages) and capped honey.  How do those using Apidea and  
other small mating nucs keep the bees home for 20 or more days?
