For some N-S context, here in New Brunswick black locust usually blooms
June 15-20. Right now the leaves are just starting to come out. There
isn't enough of it here to be important for bees, but there are a few nice
groves scattered around. We are at peak dandelion at present, and the bees
are doing well.
