>Randy Oliver asked,
"Has anyone on the list tested what happens when a fog of ethanol hits an
open flame or spark? Honestly--I'm curious..."

I have 'fogged' a burning butane torch with ethanol alone, (without any other additive). There was no hint of fire or explosion. Was able to fog my hand. No problem, it felt cool. Ethanol alcohol is used to rapidly cool intake air after a turbocharger compresses and heats the air charge in a turbocharged automobile engine. HTH :)
