As an aside, has anyone else noticed how many places are STILL advertising the availability of packages? Methinks the bee craze is finally waning and the supply now exceeds the demand, at least at the hobby level.

I suspect your probably close, more unsold hives from Almonds this year, surplus of hives in Almonds drove prie down a bit, Boon of bee because of some weather issues, as well as a lot more middlemen who have entered the market in the last year or two, thinking it was a quick buck....

Anyway, when I picked up my packages (which were plastic, when did THAT happen?),

Started about 4 years ago, growing every year..... Thanks to a lot of good people and hard work!

Charles
