I have successfully gotten laying worker(s) colonies queen right by
doing the following:
Take every frame one at a time, walk off 20 - 30 feet and shake off every bee.
Take every box over and do the same thing.
Take over the bottom board and do the same thing.
Put everything back in the original spot.
Come back the next day and add a frame or two of brood.
Come back the next day and add queen cells or a queen.
Had to do this once this June. Hive is now thriving with a deep brood
box and a medium both with frames of brood.
