The 'cure' for a list as long as they propose is simply conjecture. Hopefully the patent officer will catch that - do not want to see this 'patent' claim rights to all 'cures'.

In Europe the microbe, being a GMO, would likely be very tightly regulated. After Brexit ... who knows?
I think the limited studies done on the commensals in the honeybee gut shows that some are universal, whereas others are more restricted in distribution. The latter suggests that there might be some limitation to transmission, despite the way bees feed each other. Interesting.
