agree, now that is <1% of foretic mites right?
My calculation goes:
Autum to spring = 3 varroas in 300 bees = 1% x 1.3 to account for sugar
flour monitoring problems = 1.3% times 3 because of varroa under capping =
3.9% say 4%
Summer during honey production = upto 9 varroas in 300 bees = 3% x 1.3 x 3
= / say 12%
But the summer have to be knocked down fast as colony reduces from 50 to
60.000 bees to 30 or less thousands bees so percentaje can go 2x to 3x
higher .
