   I think this has come up before, but here's a link to their study from summer 2015.  It took me a couple of reads because of the language.  40-47C
(104-117F) seems pretty hot to me. You might want to go back and look at the discussion on this list concerning a study of the effects of temperature spikes during shipping on queen fertility.  I would be surprised if the thermosolar therapy didn't cause massive brood mortality and queen infertility.  


100% agree.  This year was a horrible season for me we suspect strongly it was heat in shipment. Queens all survives,  bust most never laid properly again.  Close to 75% loss on that load.
