me why it would not be valid to look for trends?
That was my point, the data weren't collected in a consistent manner. But leaving that aside, I was just suggesting one possible explanation for what we see. The most obvious reason would be that when honey prices fall the inefficient operations fail, leaving only beekeeping operations capable of producing high yields
