Hello All,

I have, at the San Diego Presidio, fragments of a transferware
children's plate called /A Reward for Diligence/ (to view it see
Transferware Collectors Club TCC#5927).

It shares a molded and enameled rim pattern with other nurserywares made
by Enoch Wood and Sons (i.e. /Turkey/ TCC#10762) which was specifically
used for the American market.

Because TCC & others have not seen marked /A Reward for Diligence/ items
with the Enoch Wood and Sons marks, currently TCC lists /A Reward for
Diligence/ as Maker Unknown.

Also, I have, in my personal collection, 2 plates with the /Turkey/
pattern.  My /Turkey/ plates have mark TCC#60506 on PEARLWARE and mark
TCC#47688 on CREAMWARE.

Has anyone found or know of any /A Reward for Diligence/ nurseryware
plate with the molded and enameled rim WITH an Enoch Wood and Sons mark?

Thank you all so much,

Susan D. Walter
