Hey there HISTARCH!

Does anyone know of a good reference for the first use of copper for
cooking? Is there an archaeological site that has evidence of one of the
first uses of copper for cooking? I have a general working knowledge of
how and why copper was first used but I don't have a solid reference that I
can point to that details the reasons/evolution of copper in cooking. In
addition, any reference to first use of copper aboard sailing vessels would
be awesome!

Thanks in advance.

Chris
