Thank you all for your valuable input! The revolver has been moved to a safe place while we figure out how best to preserve it. It has been suggested that we x-ray it to find out if it’s still loaded. If anyone in the northern New England area has access to an x-ray machine or knows someone who might, please feel free to contact me directly. Thanks again.
