Robin, There are extensive W.W. 1 and W.W.II military sites in Central Louisiana.

These range from bases with housing like Camp Beauregard to abandoned

Bunker complexes. Kisatchie National Forest now protects a variety of military sets.

There are scatters oF remains from’the pre-W.W.II military maneuvers.

 There are documentary films and  the Louisiana National’Guard has a museum at Camp Beauregard.
