I have recently received a request for information on Irish coins in
America from Robert Heslip, numismatist at the Ulster Museum in
Belfast. Mr. Heslip is interested in information on "...any
provenenced finds of Irish coins in America from the seventeenth or
eighteenth centuries." Can readers of the historical archaeology
list help our overseas colleague? Please forward information and
citations to me via email ([log in to unmask]) and I will forward
them to Mr. Heslip. Thanks for your help.
