Hello all,
I'm working on a turn of the 20th century Gullah Geechee fishing village
and I'm considering putting together an in person symposium on the
archaeology of fishing for the SHA meeting in Portugal. I am broadly
defining fishing to include oystering or crabbing. Themes could include
foodways, resistance, community, and more. If you have any interest in
participating, please let me know.
Cheers,
Jodi Barnes
