Dear Member

The Society for Historical Archaeology is pleased to be participating in a
survey researching occupational wellbeing among archaeologists in the
United States. It is the first national research of its kind, and it will
provide important insights for our profession. This research is being
conducted by a team of researchers from the departments of Archaeology and
Anthropology, Public Health, and Psychology at the University of
Wisconsin-La Crosse. We encourage you to participate in this important
research. Below is a message from the researchers along with an electronic
link to the survey itself.

Sincerely,
J.W. Joseph
President

Dear SHA Member:

We are very pleased to invite you to complete the occupational wellbeing
survey through the following link:

It is the first wellbeing assessment of Archaeologists in the United
States, and it is completely anonymous. All data will be reported in
aggregate (i.e., grouped data) so that you will not be individually
identified. We encourage you to complete the survey so that the results
can be as representative as possible. If you receive the survey from
multiple sources, please only complete the survey one time. Further,
please do not send the survey link to others who have not received it
directly from the SHA. Finally, we ask that you please complete the survey
by March 15.

We wish to thank you in advance for your response.
