Says that AHB in Puerto Rico have evolved into gentle bees and are a good
candidate to be used by beekeepers since they are tolerant of Varroa
(grooming).
My question is the definition of "gentle".
The shift appears to be by "selection" because the bad actors were
destroyed and the gentle ones allowed to live. Since that was done on an
island, there was no where to go for the bad actors. Nice controlled
experiment.
