Hi all,
I’m looking for comparative information about structures like these:
file:///Users/scarlett/Desktop/129293577_10221429802767016_5288243268648673110_n.jpg <file:///Users/scarlett/Desktop/129293577_10221429802767016_5288243268648673110_n.jpg>
This image shows a steel frame that I think held an "above the ground" target for aerial photography and survey. I can’t find any other examples of this type of artifact using google image searches— plenty of examples of control point targets for aerial survey, but no discussion of historic methods. A couple of these are scattered around in the woods here.
Anybody know any examples?
Thanks
