Hi Rebecca - hope grad school is proceeding well - Barbara is a remarkable person so that helps a lot.

You are probably already aware, but MHT and Maryland in general have been deep into how to preserve resources with sea level rise, which with subsidence, is really doing a number on sites.(note Annapolis under water).

Stephanie Sperling (now with MNCPP/PG) did a lot on American Indian sites on the Patuxent while with the Lost Towns folks, but she got deeply into the range of literarture which could be of value to you. Jeannie's Ward's company did a canoe survey of Battle Creek for Calvert County Planning and Zoning (working with Kirsti) - Kirsti has retired, but Stephainie's husband Chris is now in her slot. Feel free to say I suggested you contact them if you wish.
