Definitely the same thing Miller discussed - his publication is actually called out at https://www.antiquepottery.co.uk/pair-of-canary-yellow-pottery-plates-with-bright-enamel-decoration-early-19th-century-british/ Jeff Miller's book is focused on this type - he was the Curator of Ceramics at the Smithsonian - he was co-author of "Eighteenth-Century Ceramics from Michilimackinac" with Lyle Stone many years ago.
