Good morning,
In partnership with the Newport Restoration Foundation, Salve Regina University will be hosting a cultural and historic preservation conference in Newport, RI October 22-24. Many of you might have seen the call for papers last spring. The conference will focus on the preservation and interpretation of pre-1820 buildings, objects, and sites in the Americas, particularly in the fields of architecture, archaeology, material culture, museum studies, and preservation planning/policy. Richard Guy Wilson, Commonwealth Professor & Chair of Architectural History at the University of Virginia will present the keynote address on October 22nd. We have a great slate of papers covering New England, Charleston, SC and more. The link below will take you to the main page where you can view the full conference program and register.

We hope to see you there!
