I believe that we have established that MAQS are effective for some and not for others. Most probably in my mind due to geographic and climatic conditions. Also problems concerning shelf life and colony size/condition are real. So...back to the topic of the thread. A question for Charles, Dave and any others with experience.

Charlie, what constitutes "good results"? Did you check for brood damage and mite reduction? My reading of your post was an application of 40ml +/- on the bottom box of doubles 3 times a week apart, right? What kind of temps do you have then? Approx. colony size (frames of brood) and estimated mite load before treatment? Any other info is much appreciated.

Dave, would you give a brief description of your application schedule and results and any other specifics you can add?

Thanks all,

Paul Hosticka
