A recent post on nasty bees postulated that maybe large numbers in a colony
increased their aggressiveness.
I know that small colonies are easier to manage and mine seem to show an
increase in aggressiveness when they are nearing the time to split and
frames are covered with bees. But that is not an absolute.
So is there a correlation of aggressiveness with numbers or are we well
into the world of the anecdotal?
