We seem to have a runaway success in terms of enrollment, I received this from the class registrar this morning:

"Just fyi . . . we opened enrollment in the Master course at4:00 p.m. on Friday and by Saturday morning, 5:46 a.m., registration was full!

And there are already people grumbling and not happy . . . Iwill encourage people to sign up for the wait list and tell them we willlet them know if an opening becomes available."

If you missed the boat, don't worry we will open another section later in the year. We've over 40 in this first class, and as you who have taken our courses know, if we have too many students, everything bogs down.

These first adopters will be our testers - students in the 2nd section will benefit by what we learn in this first section.

We may still have openings for this first section. To be properly registered, each student has to have taken and passed our Journeyman course - no exceptions.

The registrar will be checking these early registrants today, verifying their Journeyman qualification. Also, we always get a few students who don't pay before the class starts, so there probably will be some openings for this first section.

Our thanks to everyone who was so eager to sign up. We certainly didn't expect this race to register. Please be patient, now that we've completed building the course, we will start offering it once or twice each year. Obviously, for 2016, we had better plan on at least one more offering. Given that the first time out the gate for a new course is a learning curve for everyone, we won't try to overlap sections - it's just too confusing for the instructors and not fair to the students.

Not sure what to say, except to convey our appreciation for the positive response.

Jerry
