I'm looking into using formic acid flash treatment, similar to Amrine and Noel (http://www.wvu.edu/~agexten/varroa/FAFumigat.pdf).
In this round of treatments I'd like to intentionally kill the 2nd year queen.
I know of one commercial guy who used this technique, but he couldn't tell me exactly how much formic he used per double deep.
He did say he used 90% directly.
Anyone have experience doing this?
Thanks in advance,
Brion
